Mrs. Elsie Mae (Ayers) Silcox

Age 90 of Jellico, Tennessee passed away Friday, June 27, 2025, at Baptist Health Corbin. She was born June 02, 1935, in Jellico, Tennessee.

Mae is preceded in death by:

Son: Kenneth Powers

Father: Walter Ayers

Mother: Maudie (Carroll) Ayers

Brothers: Don Ayers, James Ayers

Sisters: Martha Ayers, Juanita Bray & husband George, Bessie White & husband Walter

She is survived by:

Son: Larry Smith

Daughters: Kimberly Burns & husband David, Melissa Valentine & husband Joe

Grandchildren: Heather, Jamie, Elyse, Mercedes, Daniel, Dalton, Davey & Hayden

Several Great Grandchildren

Sister-in-law: Eloise Ayers

Special Nephew: Roger Ayers & wife Shirley

A host of nieces, nephews, friends & family to mourn her passing.

The family will receive friends: 2 - 4 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2025, at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel, with funeral services at 4 p.m.

Officiating: Rev. Ray Landes & Rev. Scott Landes

Burial: to follow in the Douglas Cemetery (Crouches Creek)
