Elsie M. Stanley (née King), born on September 10, 1951, in Morgantown, West Virginia, passed away on May 27, 2025. She was 73 years old.

Elsie was the beloved wife of Glenn C. Stanley and a devoted mother to Robert Pritchard, Kimberly Pace, Leslie Feltham (Andrew), David Stanley (Becky), and Christy Johnson (Richard). Her life was deeply enriched by her role as a grandmother to Christopher, Gregory, and Matthew Pace; Charles, Hannah, and Sarah Feltham; Jeremy (Annie) and Jeffrey (Grace) Stanley; and Joseph (Hunter Tresnicky) Johnson. She also looked forward to the joy of being a great-grandmother to her great-granddaughter due Nov. 2025.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eva P. King and Milton Lewis; four brothers Lewis, Raymond, William & Robert; her son Robert Pritchard; and her granddaughter Tiffany Pace.

Elsie’s faith was an enduring part of her life. She was a member of Cheat Lake Community Church, where she found spiritual strength and community throughout the years.

Her memory will be held close by all who knew her—as a wife, mother, grandmother and friend. May her legacy continue to bring comfort and inspiration to those whose lives she touched.
