Funeral Service Elsie A. Wolfe age 98 of Clearwater, Nebraska will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 2, 2026 at Concordia Lutheran Church in Clearwater, Nebraska with Pastor Ryan Janke officiating. Burial will be at Clearwater Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2026 at Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Clearwater. Elsie passed away on February 23, 2026 at The Meadows in Norfolk, Nebraska. Snider Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Elsie Anna Wolfe was born on March 14, 1927 to Henry and Martha (Bloebaum) Lange at Ewing, Nebraska. She attended school at Page and graduated from Ewing High School. She was united in marriage to Glenn “Buster” Wolfe on June 8, 1947 at Concordia Lutheran Church. They were blessed with eight children Dale, Gary, Sue, Janet, Mike, Mary, Diane, and Cindy. She taught school, waitressed at L bar B and Imperial. She enjoyed reading, embroidery, and word search. Especially enjoyed spending time with her kids, grandkids and great grandkids. she was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, ladies aide and auxiliary.
Survived by her children: Gary (Janet) Wolfe of Clearwater, NE; Sue Hochstein of Hartington; Janet Allemang of Clearwater, NE; Mike (Sheila) Wolfe of Norfolk, NE; Mary (Terry) Makelin of Foster, NE; Diane (Will) Price of Norfolk, NE; Cindy (Allen) Spangler of Emmet, NE; daughter-in-law Carol Wolfe of Neligh, NE. 115 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents, husband, son Dale and grandson Patrick. Son-in-law Jim Hochstein and Roy Price. Three brothers Walt and Charlene Lange, Roger Lange, and Henry Jr. (Betty) Lange.
