Funeral services for Mrs. Elvia Irene Perritt will be held on Monday, May 15, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Arcadia. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Monday, prior to service. Burial will follow at Douglas Cemetery, in Douglas, Louisiana.
Elvia was born December 15, 1945, in Ruston, Louisiana to Felton and Maggie Lynn Pesnell. She passed away on May 12, 2023, in Arcadia, Louisiana, with her loving family by her side.
Elvia was a member of First Baptist Church of Arcadia. She worked as a beautician in the Arcadia area. She loved to work puzzles and loved her grandchildren.
Elvia is preceded by her sisters Wanda Ledford, Jimmie Claire Young, and Betty Pesnell.
She is survived by her husband William Leroy Perritt, children Kim Bond and husband Clay, and Bobby Perritt and wife Crystal, grandchildren Alyssa Craig, Gage Craig, Kyler Perritt, and Slade Craig, sister Frances Baker and husband Jerry, brother Clyde Pesnell and wife Joyce, and by numerous other nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
Honoring Elvia as pallbearers will be Gage Craig, Dustin Trahan, Todd Pesnell, Dana Baker, Kyler Perritt, and Slade Craig. Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Pesnell, Clay Bond, and David Perritt.
