Elvialisa Garcia

Elvialisa Garcia, age 51, of Kingsville, Texas passed away peacefully on August 16, 2025, in Iowa City, Iowa.
Born on August 28, 1973, in California, Elvialisa was the beloved daughter of the late Eliseo E. Garcia and Elvia Villarreal. A retired caregiver, she devoted her life to helping others with compassion, strength, and grace. Elvialisa was a woman of deep and unwavering faith, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many.
She found joy in the simple things-gathering with family and friends, sharing home-cooked meals, and filling her home with laughter and love. Always the life of the party, Elvialisa had a vibrant spirit and a heart ready to embrace those around her.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Juan Carlos Cantu.
Elvialisa's memory will be cherished by her loving children: Andrea Ramirez, Michael Anthony Ramirez, and Humberto Ramirez; her brother, Eliseo (Catalina) Garcia; her sisters, Liza Cantu, Ester Cantu, and Cherrelle Alvarez; and her seven treasured grandchildren: Dominic, Amber, Riley, Kaisin, Lyric, Joaquin, and Kayne. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery, with Pastor Daniel Jimenez officiating.
