On September 6, 2025, Elvira D. (nee DiCarlo) Leimbach peacefully passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles W. Leimbach, Jr.; devoted mother of Chuck Leimbach and his wife Diane, and Carol Lee Gordon and her husband Russell; cherished grandmother of Gabe Ross and her husband Jeff, Geoffrey Gordon and his wife Vanessa, Amanda Leimbach, and Lauren Gordon; and proud great-grandmother of Dean and Tatum Ross, Adelay Gordon, and Charlie Pittman. She was the dear sister of Marlene Barbieri.

Elvira dedicated many years of service to Baltimore County Public Schools, where she was a valued and respected employee. She was an active member of the American Turner Senior Club and the Rosedale Golden Age Club, where she enjoyed lasting friendships and community. Elvira found joy in reading, watching birds, and admiring the beauty of nature. She never forgot a birthday, lovingly serving as her family’s historian and memory-keeper. Most of all, she treasured the company of her family, creating lasting bonds and cherished memories.
