Elvis Waters

Elvis Waters, age 73, a lifelong resident of Canton, Georgia, passed away on December 16, 2025. Born on August 22, 1952 to the late, Robert and Mary Waters.
An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed spending time in the mountains as well as fishing. Professionally, Elvis was known as a skilled drywall installer. His hardworking nature wasn't just a trait but a principle he lived by. He was an avid Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves fan and was a member of Mt. Gilead Methodist Church.
Family was the bedrock of Elvis's life. Nothing brought Elvis more joy than his beloved family, especially his grandchildren, who were the sparkle in his eye. A true family man, he instilled in his loved ones the same hardworking values he lived by. The countless lessons and memories he shared will continue to guide them through their lives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Stanley Waters, Jackie Waters, Gary Waters and Alvin Waters and sisters, Betty James, Suzie Piper and Jean Sims.
Elvis is survived by his wife of 43 years, Jackie Waters; daughters, Amanda Richter (Joe Holguin) and Carrie Waters; grandchildren, Michael Woody, Gabriel Payne, Alex Castillo, Georgia Holguin and Emilie Richter; brother, Hugh Waters (Frances); sister, Brenda Beavers; as well as other beloved family and friends.
Mr. Waters was cremated and no services are scheduled at this time.
