Elwanda Charlene Crossno 89, of Van Buren, Arkansas, died Saturday, July 29th, 2023 in the home. She was born August 24th, 1933, in Searcy, AR to Charles & Elizabeth Russell. In 1952 she was married to Billy Ray Crossno. Wanda graduated Nursing School and worked at AR State Hospital for 25yrs as a Licensed Psychiatric Technician Nurse (LPTN). Retired working at Van Buren Nursing Center after 13 years.
Wanda was proceeded in death by her parents & her husband, 4 brothers and 3 sisters. She is survived by her children: Charlene Loomis of Cedarville, AR, Sue & Billy Holt of Alexander, AR, Ronnie & Sheila Crossno of Van Buren, Darrell Crossno of Colorado. Her grandchildren Connie & Mary of Van Buren, AR, Kevin Loving of Independence, MO, Jerry & Susie Shelton of Van Buren, Brad & Jen Holt of Salem, AR, Jamie & Keith Lambert of Benton, AR, Aaron Crossno of Van Buren, AR, Clint Crossno & Brittany of Greenwood, AR. Great Grandchildren: Zachery Bressman & Skyler Horton, Brandon, Brittany & Blake Shelton, Hayden, Hunter & Hayley Holt, Cambri and Jack Blew, Cody, Cami Lambert, and Dane Domerese, Landon, Ethan, Arden Crossno, Tyler & Farah Crossno.
Wanda's viewing will be at Lewis Funeral Chapel from 5pm to 7pm on Friday August 4th, 2023. Memorial services will be held at Lewis Funeral Chapel Saturday 5th at 12pm The service will be officiated by Steve Harrelson. Pallbearers are Keith Lambert,Jerry Shelton, Brad Holt, Aaron Crossno, Skyler Horton, Hayden Holt, Tyler Crossno and Hunter Holt. Burial will be at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren, AR.
