Elynor Pearce-Dillon Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Mountain View Funeral Home & Cemetery on Feb. 23, 2026.
Elynor was born in Los Angeles, California to R. Norman Pearce and Lucille M. Brown-Pearce. At less than one year, the family relocated to Mesa, Arizona. There, with brother Norman and Sister Carol enjoyed roaming the area when Mesa was just a very small town. She loved riding her bicycle and roller skating with friends. She watched Carol and Norman's families grow and adored spending time with nieces and nephews, Patti, Anne, Gary, Roger, Susan and Julieanne. Not to mention all the great-nieces and nephews.

Ely graduated from Old Mesa High in 1961 and went on to spend a couple of years at ASU.

In the 1950's her family started going to the White Mountains of Arizona. Those mountains captured her heart. Her summers were filled with hiking, fishing, an RVing in her beloved mountains.

Going in the motorhome was something she loved. She got to see much of the western United States with Deb, her 2 dogs, Bella and Paxon and even her conure Spree.

Always the artist, in 1977, with partner Deborah, they opened Reflections in Glass, a Stained Glass studio. Their business grew and prospered and ran for almost 30 years in downtown Mesa. They did glass in many churches, shopping centers, and lots of family homes. They also catered to people who enjoyed doing glass as a hobby and sold them supplies.

Ely always loved the Arizona desert and after retiring she and Deborah found a home in Gold Canyon, Arizona and enjoyed the company of the birds, deer, quail, foxes, raccoons and a host of other critters.

She loved all animals large and small all over the world. Two of her favorite charities were the Arizona Game and Fish, and National wildlife.

She leaves a host of dear friends who loved her dearly. Rest well sweet friend.
