She was also a proud Vovó to her three grandchildren, Kaz, Elise, and Quinn, who were the light of her life.
Elza's warmth, compassion, and sense of humor will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She loved cooking, dancing, and spending time with her friends and family.
In addition to her children, Elza is survived by her siblings: Manuel Alvaro Silva of Lowell, MA; Felicidade Silva and her partner, Fred Olivero, of Dracut, MA; Cilena Daigle and her husband, David, of Nashua, NH; Mary Jo Borges and her late husband, Walter, of Lowell, MA; Manuel Norberto Silva of France; Alvaro Silva and his wife, Kimberley, of Tewksbury, MA; Michael Silva of Nashua, NH; as well as the late João Silva and his wife, Liyan, of Newton, MA, and many nieces, nephews, and friends who will remember her with love.

A celebration of her life will take place in the coming weeks.
