With much sadness, Emily Jane Anzelmo passed away December 11, 2024 at the age of 84. Jane was born on December 23, 1939 in Genoa, Nebraska to Henry and Clara (Gunchick) Boro. Moving to Chicago, IL, Jane met the love of her life, Joe Anzelmo and married on May 9, 1959. Jane was full of life, had a passion for reading romance novels, word searches, scratch off lottery tickets, making the best pasta sauce and kolache cookies, but most of all providing love and support for her family. With Joe they raised a beautiful family of four children. Always putting the needs of their children before herself, giving them guidance, lending a helping hand, and so much love. Jane's most cherished achievement in life was watching her kids grow, flourish and have children of their own. She was a proud grandmother to every one of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. A life well lived and proud to see come full circle. Although Jane is gone, she will live in our hearts forever. Preceded in joining the Lord: her loving husband, Joe Anzelmo, father and mother Henry and Clara (Gunchick) Boro, brother Rich Boro, sister Marcie Kolodziej. Survived by: Children – Cindy (Ray) Hernandez, Joe (Christine) Anzelmo, Pam (Jeff) Timar, Lori (Jim) Livergood: Grandchildren – Stephanie (Nick) Marchese, Bryan Anzelmo, Anthony Hernandez, Jennifer (Jake) Filas, Dakota (Hailey) Anzelmo, Carter
Livergood, Brittany Livergood, Alexis Timar, Jake Livergood: Great grandchildren – Ayden Hernandez, Aleyna Hernandez, Mary Jane Donohue, Tessaia Anzelmo, Zahcray Marchese. Visitation will be held Sunday, December 22, 2024 from 3-9pm at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels 450 W. Lake Street, Roselle, IL and a funeral Mass Monday, December 23, 2024 10am at St. Matthew's Church, 1555 Glen Ellyn Rd, Glendale Heights, IL, followed by burial service at Mt. Emblem Cemetery, 520 E. Grand Ave., Elmhurst, IL.
