Emily Baethge Obituary
Emily was born on August 16, 1935 in Fredericksburg, Texas to Emil and Elizabeth Heinemann Crenwelge.
Emily married Marion Carl Baethge on June 2, 1956 at St Mary's Catholic Church in Fredericksburg.
Emily is survived by 3 sons and one daughter, Stephen & Kim Baethge of Fredericksburg, Kenneth & Denise Baethge of Fredericksburg, Dennis & Debbie Baethge of Fredericksburg and Janice & Garrett Durst of Harper. She is also survived by one brother, Daniel Crenwelge; one sister, Ruby Lee Clark; sisters-in-law, Harriett Crenwelge and Mrs. Evelyn Goins; 11 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Emily was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Baethge; one son, Gregory Baethge; brother, Clayton Crenwelge; sister Genevieve Voigt; brother and sisters-in-law, Shirley Crenwelge, James W. Clark II, Clarence Voigt, Gloria Crenwelge, Henry George & Viola Baethge, Erwin & Lillian Baethge, A.J. Goins, and nieces & nephews, Danette Ransleben, Ava Lavonne & Calvin Bennett, Larry Goins and James Goins.
Memorial contributions in her memory made be made to: Golden Hub, St. Mary's Parish Capital Campaign, Hill Country Spirituality Center, Hill Country Youth Ranch, Doss Volunteer Fire Department, Pecan Creek School Cooler Fund, or to the charity of your choice.
Funeral Mass for Emily was held on Wednesday, April 2, at 2 p.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Graveside services and interment followed in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum.
Rosary services were held on Tuesday, April 1, at 5 p.m. in the Chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home with visitation from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., prior to the rosary.
Pallbearers: Jayden Sifuentes, Quinn Durst, Quade Durst, Kim Ross Baethge, Ashton Rogers and Caden Grona
Honorary Pallbearers: Daniel F. Crenwelge, Clayton Baethge and Colton Baethge
