Emily Shea Blackburn

Emily Shea Blackburn, age 26, of Florence, Kentucky, passed away on February 21, 2026. Born in Florence on September 3, 1999, Emily brought creativity, kindness, and a bright spirit into the lives of all who knew her.

Emily worked as a Financial Advisor, a role that reflected her dedication and drive, but she was equally known for her artistic heart. She loved to write and paint, expressing herself through creativity and imagination. Emily found great joy in traveling and making memories with those she loved, especially during her cherished trips to Panama City Beach, Florida - a place that brought her peace and happiness. Emily also enjoyed watching her brother play basketball and enjoyed going to watch the Cincinnati Bengals play.

She was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Earl and Betty Hansen and Don and Marguerite Blackburn; and her uncle, Gary Hansen.

Emily will be deeply missed by her loving parents, Todd and Julie Blackburn; her brother, Evan Blackburn; her uncle and aunt, Greg and Colleen Hansen; and her cousins, Lauren Hansen and Gary Hansen (Taylor). She leaves behind many family members and friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM, with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Stith Funeral Home, 7500 US Highway 42, Florence, Kentucky 41042.
