Emily Carpenter Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by E.J. Fielding Funeral Home & Cremation Services on Feb. 11, 2026.
Emily Nicole Carpenter, age 25, of Mandeville, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026. She was born on August 7, 2000, in Covington, Louisiana.

Emily is survived by her grandparents, Linda and Mike Chiasson; her mother and father, Valerie and Adam Carpenter; five siblings, Nicholas Chiasson, Ashley Chugden (Sean), Michael Chiasson (Danielle), Amanda Couvillion, and Adam T. Carpenter (Jennifer); uncles, Greg Chiasson (Donna), and Billy Walston (Janet); and her aunt, Katie Chiasson (Martin); together with numerous nieces and nephews, Braiden and Landon Chugden, Madden, Carter, and Anniston Chiasson, Olivia and Elijah Williams, and Liam, Owen, and Gavin Carpenter; together with her beloved cousins, Ross, Alex, and Shelby Chiasson, and Suzanna and Alexandra Walston.

Emily was a 2018 graduate of Fountainebleau High School and earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting in December 2025 from the University of New Orleans. She was also actively pursuing a master's degree, a reflection of her dedication, resilience, and unwavering commitment.

At just 25 years old, she left an unforgettable mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She lived boldly and authentically, embracing life with a vibrant spirit that was impossible to ignore.

She had a deep love for bright colors, filling her world with hues that reflected her personality-fearless, expressive, and full of warmth. Her tattoos told stories of who she was and what she loved, each one a piece of art that celebrated her individuality and creativity.

She shared a special bond with her beloved cat, who was a constant source of comfort, companionship, and joy. Their quiet moments together were some of her most cherished, offering peace in a busy world.

Those who knew her will remember her for her unique style, her gentle heart, and her ability to be unapologetically herself. She taught others the value of self-expression, kindness, and living life in color.

Though her time was far too short, the impact she made will endure in the memories, laughter, and love she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 13, 2026, at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue, Covington, Louisiana, with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM. Interment will be at a later date.
