Emily Hernandez Hernandez, age 11, of Greensboro, NC, entered into the arms of Jesus on August 25, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on November 24, 2013, Emily was the cherished daughter of Rafeal Hernandez Robles and Amayrani Desired Hernandez Bruno.
Emily was a joyful and kindhearted child whose smile brightened every room she entered. Described as a loving big sister, she brought happiness to her siblings and was a source of support and joy in their lives. Her interests included reading, math, performing TikTok dances, experimenting with makeup, and engaging in heartfelt conversations with her friends. She had a special passion for learning about God and finding ways to help others, which reflected her compassionate spirit.
As a former student at Ronald E. McNair Elementary School, Emily was eagerly preparing to start her journey into sixth grade at Northern Guilford Middle School. Known for her faith, laughter, and love for others, she left a positive impact on everyone who had the pleasure to meet her. Emily enjoyed learning the Rosary and had a gift for sharing kind words with her friends and teachers, embodying the joy of youth with grace and kindness.
Emily is survived by her father, Rafeal Hernandez Robles (Monica Vargas), and her mother, Amayrani Desired Hernandez Bruno (Marvin Haburn). She is also survived by her sisters, Melany, Hailey, and Alizon; her brothers, Jario and Santiago; her maternal grandparent, Rosio Bruno Nieto; and her paternal grandparents, Hilario Hernandez and Eulalia Robles. Additionally, she leaves behind a loving extended family, including uncles Jason, Benito, Octavio, Adan, Fabian, Hilario, Alejandro, Jorge, Cesar, Juan, and Pablo; and aunts Juana, Maria, Eva, Noemi, and Sandra.
Emily will be forever missed by her many uncles, aunts, cousins, classmates, teachers, and friends, all of whom will carry her memory and the light she brought into their lives. A Mass in her honor will be held on September 9, 2025, at St Mary's Catholic Church in Greensboro, NC.
