Emily Louise Jobin, formerly known as Emily Hubbard, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2024, at the age of 84. Born on November 4, 1940, in Kalamazoo, she was a lifelong resident of the area. An independent woman of faith, Emily loved knitting and making friends wherever she went. She loved visiting with her family and particularly her grandchildren. She was known for her laughter and fun jokes.
Emily is predeceased by her husband, Thomas Jobin, her parents, William Hubbard and Ailce (Whetmore) Hubbard, sister, Rebecca Drexler, sister, Jeri Hansen, and her beloved son, Michael Van Dam. She is survived by her sister, Julie (Keith) Hewitt, two daughters, Jenny Johnston and Stacey Phillips and grandchildren, Justin Johnston, Mackenzie Johnston, and Ruby Phillips.
