Emily Lowder Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Toft Funeral Home, Hinman Chapel on May 3, 2025.
Emily May (Reising) Lowder, 58, of Florence, Oh. went home to be with Jesus and is now resting in the arms of the angels after a sudden illness on Thursday, May 1, 2025.
She was born on May 9, 1966 in Amherst, Ohio to Edward and Margaret (Hahn) Reising. She lived in the Berlin Heights area, and was a lifelong resident around Florence Township.
Emily graduated from Firelands High School in 1984, attended Heidelberg College, and BGSU Firelands Campus to further her career. Emily was athletic, enthusiastic, and energetic which made her a great Cleveland Browns fan. She always greeted you with a beautiful smile. She was artistically blessed with picture painting skills and a strong operatic voice that the angels and birds perhaps took notice. Emily had a faith in Jesus and God to lead her on many wooded and beautiful paths along life's journey. She will be sadly missed by so many.
She currently worked as a professional massage therapist at Tranquility Salon & Spa in Milan, OH. She was planning to move to Tennessee where she owned some property. She had built her dream "little cabin" where she could enjoy the serenity of nature and beautiful views. She also enjoyed hunting, sporting events, cookies and family gatherings.
Emily leaves behind her beloved son; Brandon Lee Lowder currently of Toledo, father; Edward Reising, brothers; Ned and Ted Reising, sisters, Eve M Lebron, Ellen R. Spencer, her 2 beloved doggies; Carmello and Feivel and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her mother; Margaret "Peggy" Reising.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
