It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Emily Ann Louise Picco, a beloved soul whose light illuminated every room she entered. Emily passed away peacefully on June 2nd in her bed at the young age of 49. She was born on April 20th 1976.
Emily Ann Louise Picco was known for her radiant spirit and unwavering kindness, which touched the lives of all of those who knew her. She gave all she had and more to help those around her, guiding them through their life and troubles. Her heart is bigger than the world itself, she brightened every room she walked into. While bearing the weight of life on her shoulders, shining the brightest light through the darkest of rooms. Emily had a passion for painting, through which she expressed her creativity. Emily’s artwork brought joy and inspiration to many, reflecting the beauty she saw in everything around her.
Emily is survived by her children, Christopher Stoner, Alexa Pompeo, and Emma-Leigh Pompeo and her grandchild, Allison Lillian Stoner, along with her husband, Michael Pompeo. Emily’s memory will be cherished and kept alive through the countless lives she impacted with her warmth and generosity.
A Memorial Service will be held to Celebrate Emily's life and legacy at Pierson's Funeral Service (4121 - 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 2:00 pm.
