Emily M. (Paradise) Singleton, 88, died on December 1, 2025 at her home in Rochester, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on April 13, 1937, she is the daughter of the late John Paradise and Mary Melesinski Paradise. Raised and educated in Bridgeport, she worked for Cablevision in Bridgeport, where she met and fell in love with the late Wallace Singleton. Emily worked in the office while Wallace worked for Cablevision as a lineman. They were married on June 25, 1989 in Bridgeport, CT. The couple then moved to Bayonne, New Jersey when Wallace began driving for the Peter Pan Bus Company.
Emily enjoyed spending time with both her immediate family and her extended family through her husband, Wallace.
Emily is survived by her three children, Diana Bistyga, Joseph Bistyga and Lynn Bistyga; three grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Emily was bless with a blended family. She is also survived by Wallace’s four children, Autumn Singleton, Marcus Singleton, LaDell Singleton, and Denise Singleton.
ARRANGEMENTS: Assisting the family with arrangements is the Cremation Society of NH, Hampton. No formal services will be held at this time. A graveside service will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
