Emma Curtis Obituary
She married CD Curtis in 1964, they were married for 60 and ½ years. She passed at home with her children by her side on 4 March 2026, at 83.
Her passions were food, family and faith.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, her siblings Jesse Mae and Harmon Steven, her husband Carroll Dean and her daughter Anji.
She is survived by her two sons, Larry and his wife Amy, James and his wife Amber, and her daughter Carol and her husband Robert Ellen, her four grandchildren, Johnathan, Christopher, Samantha and her fiancé James Gifford.
Services will be held at:
Lone Star Cowboy Church
1309 E FM 1585
Lubbock, TX 79423
In lieu of flowers please donate to the Lone Star Cowboy Church or Friends of the Library, Lubbock TX.

I had the pleasure of working with Emma at Walmart for many, many years. Not a day went by she made sure to tell me hello and to ask how I was doing. Her kind, beautiful heart will be missed. Thank you Emma for showing us what kindness looks like and leading by example! Rest easy.
