Emma L. Cutrano

Emma Lee Cutrano, 89, of Virginia, passed away at her home at 6:31 a.m. on Sunday, February 8, 2026. She was born on October 25, 1936 in Pleasant Plains, Illinois to Giles and Mary Alice (Contrell) Holmes.

Emma is survived by her grandchildren, Eric Dybas and Geri (Edward) Arsenault; great-grandchildren, Jasmine Palider-Ward and Brooklyn Dybas; nephew, Rodger Hudgins; and many other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; children, Shelly Diane and Jesse Flynn; and siblings, Helen Ring, JoAnn Richman, and Patsy (Barlow) Wooldridge.

Emma worked as a truck driver and secretary for a trucking company. She was a very sassy, classy, and spirited woman who lived life boldly and loved being with those she cared about.

Her grandson would like to give special thanks to Courtney and those family members that came and helped make her passing as comfortable and peaceful as it could be!

Cremation rites have been accorded and A small celebration of life will be held on Feb 21st 2026 from 1-4pm at East Side, 104 S Main St. Virginia, IL, 62691 for family and friends that deserve a chance to pay their respects and share memories of her amazing life!
