Emma Jean Getsko

Emma Jean Getsko "Jean" to most "Emma" to others, 80, of Mineral Wells passed away Monday, April 18, 2022 in Hudson Oaks, TX. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home. The funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Southside Church of Christ with burial in the Indian Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Getsko was born April 11, 1942 in Mineral Wells, TX. She was born to John Jay and Lou Emma Warren. She married Joseph "Joe" Perry Getsko on September 1, 1963 in Fort Worth. She was a devoted homemaker with four daughters. They lived in Arlington for 20 years before moving to Mineral Wells in 2006. Joe passed away in 2009 and Jean continued to reside in Mineral Wells until she could no longer live by herself. She was diagnosed with ALS in 2015 which ultimately took her life. She continued to live graciously until the day she passed.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Bryan Magby of Arlington, Julie and David Miller of Hudson Oaks, Connie and Jack Imboden of Weatherford and Lana and Ronnie Stockwell of Weatherford; grandchildren, Jake, Garrett and Paige Magby, Truett and Ava Miller, Kyle and Collin Smithey, Jameslynn and Sharmalee Imboden, Corey and Amanda Getsko, Emmalea Long, Haylee and Brent Borgeson and Parker Stockwell; five great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law Janice and Tom Buckman, sisters-in law Ginny Warren and Chris Warren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers, Jay Warren and Steve Warren.
