Joseph Getsko Obituary
Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at South Side Church of Christ with burial in Indian Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home.
Mr. Getsko was born Feb. 6, 1942, in McKeesport, Pa. He was born to Joseph and Alda Hockersmith Getsko. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He married Emma Jean Warren, Sept. 1, 1963, in Fort Worth. He was a car sales manager until he retired in 2006. They lived in Arlington for 20 years before moving to Mineral Wells in 2006. He attended North Oak Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister
Survivors: His wife, Jean Getsko of Mineral Wells; daughters and sons-in-law, Dianne and Bryan Magby of Arlington, Julie and David Miller of Weatherford, Connie and David Smithey of Arlington and Lana and Richie Long of Weatherford; nine grandchildren; three sisters; numerous nieces and nephews.

To the Getsko family, I am so sorry for your loss. Joe was such a nice man. I remember his smile and warm spirit anytime we saw him. Always ready with his quick wit, and some of the best jokes I can ever remember. I hope the memories of his goodness will comfort you, and we will pray for you during this difficult time.
