Emma Higgins Obituary
Emma Jean Higgins, age 97, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024 in Akron, Ohio. She was born in Alto, Tennessee to the late Jody and Elora Garner on February 17, 1927.
She is survived by her sons, Jody and Rick; grandchildren, Amber and Eric; great-grandchildren, Aundrea, Kyren, Armani, Nakiah, Avalon and Myles; and her niece, Karilyn.
She was a valued employee of AAA for over 30 years. Emma loved her family and gardening. She was known for her elegance and poise and she was a cherished mother and grandmother.
Family and friends are invited to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44305) on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 from 11am until 1pm. Emma will then be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park (2580 Romig Rd., Akron, OH 44320).
