Emma Lee Johnson was born in Plain Dealing, Louisiana on August 20, 1947 to the proud parents of Henry Johnson and Mary Edna Offord.
Emma attended Seagoville High School. She received her Diploma in 1963. She compiled business classes at Richard College. Emma career started in 1968 at The Travelers Insurance Company as a Coder for 15 years and later was promoted to Supervisor until the Company moved back to Harford, Connecticut. She continued her career at A Affordable Insurance as an Insurance Agent, then Underwriter until retirement. Emma was a woman of God. From 1959 to 2011.
She was a member of Wayside Baptist Church in Seagoville, Texas. In 2011 She moved her membership to Second Avenue Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas. There, she was Secretary of Sunday School, On the Finance Committee and Hospitality.
Emma's legacy lives on through her two children, Marilyn Johnson and Curtis Johnson (Wife Terrie Johnson). 6 sisters and brothers. Four grandchildren Marcus Johnson ( Wife Carly Johnson); Marquita Johnson; Camren Johnson (Wife Lexi Johnson); Christian Johnson. One great grandson, Caden Johnson. Lastly, Emma leaves a multitude, cousins,nieces, and nephews.
