Emma E. Linster (nee – Denkmann), a longtime resident of Warminster, has returned home to her ancestors on March, 2, 2024 at the age of 83. Her Native Name was "Many Coats." She was born in Philadelphia on May 24, 1940, where she was also raised and educated. Emma was the beloved mother of Robert "Bob" Linster of Virginia, and the late Donna Cramer and her husband Chuck of Philadelphia; grandmother of three; great-grandmother of two; sister of Ernie Denkmann; she is also survived by loving extended family and friends.
Emma was proud of her Native heritage, and a longtime member of several organizations including the Native American Association of Bucks County, United American Indians of Delaware Valley, and the Eagle Clan of Bensalem. Her ancestry was drawn from the Sioux Nation and she found great joy as dancer at their Pow Wows' doing so for more than 10 years. Emma's favorite phrase was "Miktakuye Oyasin," which translated into English means "We are all related."
