Emma Jean Nolte, 86, of Robins, Iowa passed away Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the Dennis & Donna Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha, Iowa. The family will host a Celebration of Life at a later date. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids, Iowa assisted the family.
Emma was born January 17, 1939, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Frank and Vera (Wagaman) Kellerhals. She graduated from Tipton High School in 1957. On July 28, 1984, Emma was united in marriage to Gordon Nolte at Concordia Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids. She worked at May City Lanes, Gordy’s Floors and was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, Sudoku’s, and jigsaw puzzles. Emma liked taking bus trips to the casino, visiting with family and friends and traveling, especially to Hawaii.
Survivors include her children, Mike (Rita) Driscoll of Cedar Rapids, Sally (Daryl) Kaeha of Waianae, Hawaii, and Mark Driscoll of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; brother, Lee Kellerhals of Marion, Iowa; grandchildren, Julia Griffith of Cedar Rapids, Melissa Prochaska of Cedar Rapids, Kekoa and Kainoa Kaeha of Waianae, Hawaii and DJ Kaeha of Florida; great-grandchildren, Leland Evenson and Violet Prochaska both of Cedar Rapids; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Nolte; daughter, Susan Driscoll; ex-husband, Jim Driscoll; parents, Frank and Vera Kellerhals; and siblings, Betty Arnez, Marvel Foens, Larry Kellerhals, and Donny Kellerhals.
