Emma Ramirez Primera of Fort Stockton, Texas, passed away on July 23, 2023 at the age of 88.
Visitation will be held at 3:00pm Wednesday July 26th, 2023, at the Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend 301 N. Main St. Fort Stockton, Texas 79735. Rosary at 7:00pm also at Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am Thursday July 27th, 2023, at St. Agnes Catholic Church 4094 N. Highway 18 with Father Francis Njoku officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery.
Arrangements are made by Heritage Funeral Home.
Emma was born in Shafter, Texas to Pedro and Luciana Ramirez on February 7th 1935. She attended Fort Stockton public schools and graduated high school. She married Robert G. Primera on January the 21st in Fort Stockton, Texas. She worked at Bella Terrazas alongside owner Amy Terrazas in Fort Stockton, Texas until she retired. She was involved with the Guadalupanas and Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic church in Fort Stockton, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her spouse of 62 years Robert Primera, her Sister Cruz Mendiola, her brothers Conrado and Spouse Amelia Ramirez, Pedro Ramirez, Fred and Emma Ramirez, Benito Ramirez, Chavel and Victoria Ramirez and her baby brother Elias and his wife Alicia Ramirez.
Emma is survived by her daughter Priscilla and spouse David Carrasco, Robert Primera Jr. and spouse Cynthia, Patsy and spouse Dave Grice, Eric and spouse Cheryl Primera. Her grandchildren David Arron and spouse Christy Carrasco, John Robert and his spouse Sonia Carrasco, Amy Grice, Isabella Grice, Emma Grice, Sophia Primera, Eric Garner, Jake Alexander, Roman Primera. Great Grand Children Emerie and Mia Carrasco. Odette Garner, Brittney Aldridge, Aly Sierra, and Angel Moreno. Great great grandchildren Gloria Sierra, Harley Sierra, Ruby Sierra, and David Aldridge Jr.
Pallbearers will be Roman Primera, Jake Alexander, David Arron Carrasco, John Robert Carrasco, Pete Ramirez, and Isacc Ramirez.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in Emma’s name to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Our mom was blessed with the most wonderful nieces and nephews who continually blessed her with gifts, cards, phone calls and visits. We will miss our mom tremendously.
