Emma Nell Reneer

Mrs. Emma Nell Reneer, age 84, of Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, September 9, 2024. Mrs. Reneer grew up in Brownsville, KY and was born in Covington, KY on August 31, 1940 to the late George Blair and Mae Magdalene Madison Plank. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, retired from both Houchens Grocery and Bullitt County Public Schools. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
In addition to her parents, her beloved husband, Joseph C. Reneer Sr. and brothers, Howard Plank, George Blair and Joe Blair preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Joey Reneer Jr. (Sonya), James Reneer and Jeresa Lacer (Kevin); grandchildren, Kayla, Dakota, Logan, Kyle, Sabrina, Bethany, Eric and Joey, III; great-grandchildren, Kennedy, Avery, Emma, Cole, Remington, Wyatt, Chloe, Cyra, Alivia and Alexcia; brother, John Plank and a host of other dear family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm on Thursday, September 12, 2024 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Wednesday from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Thursday from 12:00 pm until the time of her service at 2:30 pm at the funeral home.
