Emma was our precious daughter, granddaughter, cousin, niece, and friend. She is survived by her mother Amy, her stepfather Steve and her father Winfield Rose. She was a beloved granddaughter to Marlene Myres, Brian Myres, and Sheila Fiebig. Emma was adored by her cousins Evyn, Haley, Gus, Aaron, and her stepbrothers Jon and Sam. Her aunts Cindy and Linda cherished her. Emma was an award-winning filmmaker and a brilliant writer and artist. Her influence was beyond her understanding! She had an innate ability to express herself through artistic endeavors, inspiring and encouraging others to do the same. Though life presented her with many challenges, Emma faced them with courage and resilience. She built a sanctuary for herself, surrounded in her room by tiny animals and fish tanks of bubbling water, with her kitties and beloved dog Pixy sleeping on the bed. This was her safe haven of peace and love. She sought the good in others while her goodness was noticed by all
