Emma Werra

Emma Gertrude (Ewell) Werra, 91, of Plymouth, MA has fallen asleep in death on November 16, 2025. Emma was the youngest of five, born to the late Evelyn Rose (Stockwell) Ewell and Gershom Francis Ewell.
In 1952, Emma was a Pvt. in the Woman's Army Corp and served for one year. Thirty years later she chose to dedicate her life to serve as a full time minister as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. A position she held with honor and deep respect. She was a very loving, kind, and generous woman that loved to crochet, build puzzles, and loved to laugh. She had a warmth about her that touched everyone she met.
She was mother to the late Marilyn LaFontaine of Plymouth, and is survived by her children: Glenn Ewell and Bonnie Sicard of Loudon, TN; Kevin Sicard of Guanajuato, Mexico; Bruce Sicard of Plymouth, MA; Jill (Sicard) Yeager of Somerset, MA; and Lisa (Gabourel) DaSilva of Fall River, MA. She is also survived by four of her five step-sons: Glen, Gary, Vincent, and Kevin Gabourel. The fifth, Kenneth Gabourel, preceded her in death. She also leaves behind many grand, great, and great-great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
There will be a "Celebration of Life" held for her on December 26 @ 4:30 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 116 Wareham St., Middleboro, MA, followed by a meal and association at The American Legion, 199 Federal Furnace Road, Plymouth, MA.
