Publish in a newspaper

Emmet Timothy "Tim" Williams passed Thursday, August 14, 2025, after a month-long battle with kidney and heart failure. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Vivian (née Ehrenstrom), whom he adored, and his beloved sons, Devin (Erica) and Eric (Anne). Tim was so proud of his grandchildren, Violet and Elijah Williams who loving called him, "GT" (Grampa Tim).

Tim was deeply connected to his extended family, including in-laws, Robert, Jane, Jon (Danette), Griff (Nancy), and Shellie Ehrenstrom, 18 nieces and nephews, 20 grandnieces and grandnephews, and 2 great grandchildren.

Enjoying a decades-long career in industrial sales, Tim's outgoing personality and cheerful manner made anyone he met feel special. Even the compassionate and competent healthcare professionals at the hospital shared that they loved caring for him.

Tim enjoyed music, dancing, reading, cooking, baking bread, and travelling with his wife both domestically and abroad. Tim was a kind friend to all who knew and loved him.

Memorial visitation Monday, August 25, 2025, 9:30a.m. until time of Mass 11:30 a.m. at St. John Fisher Catholic Church, 10234 S. Washtenaw, Chicago, IL 60655. Interment private.

The family respectfully asks that rather than flowers, please honor Tim's memory with a donation to the Greater Chicago Area Food Depository, 4100 W. Ann Lurie Pl, Chicago, IL 60632, https://www.chicagosfoodbank.org/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=google-business-profile. Arrangements entrusted to Donnellan Funeral Home.
