Emogene Grenville Obituary
Merritt Island, Florida
Emogene 'Jean' Grenville, 86, beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025. Jean retired from NASA, Kennedy Space Center in 2002, after 30+ years in various administrative roles, last being Executive Assistant to Bob Sieck, KSC Launch Director. Jean was an active officer with Federally Employed Women (FEW) and the NASA Alumni Association, and also enjoyed participating in various clubs. More than anything Jean lived life to its fullest and cared deeply for her family and friends.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years Bert; daughters Ann Grenville, Linda Mixson and Carol Arieux (Mike); father George Prise; mother Inez Slye; brother George Prise and sister Joan Erickson. Survivors include her daughter, Janette Ernest (Steve); sons, Mark Middleton (Cara), David Middleton, Alan Grenville (Denise) and Robert Grenville (Leslie); and her precious grandchildren, Dyan Rodriguez (Carlos), Krista Middleton, Sean Ernest (Ariel), Mark Ireland, Stacy Dellone (Shaun), Nicole Schroeter (Dave), Adam Grenville (Jody), Tyler Grenville (Margaret), Casey Grenville (Amy), Brian Foxhoven(Katie), Lisa Brown(Drew), Layne Anderson (John), Brittany Lucas (Donnie) and Cody Grenville. Jean was also blessed with twenty-four great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 9th, at North Brevard Funeral Home in Titusville. Visitation will be from 1-2pm with a reception following the 2pm service.
Jean would have wanted any donations to go to Wounded Warriors Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256
