Enisa Kay DePriest, age 55, of Verona, Missouri, passed away at 4:42 a.m. on Friday, May 2, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Aurora, Missouri. She was born on December 27, 1969, in Bentonville, Arkansas, the daughter of Kenneth Bowman and Sue (Cook) DePriest.
Enisa was a 1988 graduate of Aurora High School and attended Cosmetology School. She worked for the Missouri Department of Social Services for Lawrence County in Aurora, Missouri. Enisa enjoyed going shopping, watching birds, going on vacations, and going to the beach. She attended Engage Church in Aurora.
On September 19, 1998, she married Joe DePriest in Aurora, Missouri.
Enisa is survived by her husband, of 26 years Joe; her father, Kenneth Bowman of Ridgely, Missouri; three children, Austin Black of Aurora, Missouri, Myleah (Cody) Childress of Billings, Missouri and Gage DePriest of Joplin, Missouri; two grandsons, Kasyn and Jaxton Black; two brothers, John (Sandra) Bowman of Crane, Missouri and Levi (Skylar) Bowman of Cassville, Missouri; niece, Ashley Bowman of Grove, Oklahoma and nephew, Zach (Brittany) Sapiens of Farmington, Arkansas.
Enisa was preceded in death by her mother, Sue DePriest and her brother, Jerry Bowman.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora, Missouri, with a burial to follow at Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, in the funeral home chapel.
