Enrique Rodriguez

Enrique Rodriguez was born on June 27, 1971, and he received his wings on December 13, 2022, joining the many loved ones who have gone before him.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years DeeDee Rodriguez, his children Carmen Ortiz, Venus, Enrique, Zoe, and Zaria Rodriguez, nephew Axel Rivera, grandson Lucas, as well as his beloved dogs Mia and Sunflower, and cat Rio.
Originally from the Lower East Side in New York City, Enrique later found his home in Florida. His career and life as "El Patrón de Los Préstamos," revolved around helping people and he always spoke about how grateful he was to be able to make a difference in people's lives. He enjoyed traveling, spending time at the beach, and watching sports with our Papa. He took pride in his faith and spent lots of time preaching God's word.
His family was his biggest motivation, and he savored each moment he got to spend alongside them. His wife, 'Dee' was more than just his companion. She was his world, his rock, and his source of happiness. His children were his pride and joy. He constantly praised how beautiful his girls had become and how strong his boys were. In his eyes, his children could do no wrong. He was a loving husband, father, uncle, and grandfather. For him, family extended far beyond blood and the time spent with his friends was precious. He loved each person he welcomed into his life unconditionally and purely. His smile always lit up the room and his calming presence gave joy and comfort to us all. His spirited personality and laughter were infectious. He was his family's biggest fan, from wearing his cheer dad shirt to stomping on the bleachers during touchdowns and running up and down the soccer field at games.
He saw the good and beautiful in everyone and was a beacon of light who will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
