Erasmo C. Ramirez

Age 43, of Morris, Illinois, passed away on October 4, 2025 at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois.

Born November 25, 1981 in Puebla, Mexico, Erasmo was a son of Domdo C. and Lisa (Rosas) Ramirez.

Erasmo recently worked at the Morris Diner in Morris and enjoyed spending his free time fishing. He was an animal lover who grew up surrounded by many kinds of animals in Mexico, but he especially had a soft spot for dogs.

Survivors include his children: Victoria Ramirez and Angel Ramirez; granddaughter: Alison Mae Torries; six brothers: Isdro Ramirez, Pedro Ramirez, Fabian Ramirez, Ciro Ramirez (1), Ciro Ramirez (2) and Eulalio Ramirez; four sisters Narcisa Ramirez, Silvana Ramirez, Juana Ramirez and Pioquinta Ramirez.

Erasmo was preceded in death by his parents.

Family will receive friends at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road in Wilmington, Illinois for a gathering on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Following the gathering, cremation rites will be accorded.

Erasmo will be laid to rest in Mexico at a later date.
