To the entire Bray family, you have my deepest condolences. I grew up with Eric and Kevin from childhood. He was one of the most honest and up beat guys you could ever meet. His loyalty to his friends and family was stronger than anything you can imagine...especially his loyalty to his brother Kevin. Eric was always full of joy. The world is darker this week. You were one of the nicest people onboard the USS Seattle, and your constant smile and laugh broke through many stressful and boring watches and long work days. The day I ended up covered in powdered waste brought us all many laughs and will be a memory I carry if you.

We were friends back in the day when we were on the USS Seattle. Eric (or "Bray" as I called him) was such a nice guy and could always take a joke. He was a total goof. Everyone was better for knowing him. We got out of the navy around the same time and I saw him a couple of times in passing since. I'm grateful for those chance encounters and for Facebook because it was nice to see how my buddy was doing from time to time. He had a heart of gold and will be missed.
