Eric Lee Brumback

Eric Lee Brumback, 68, of Anderson, passed away peacefully at his residence on February 13, 2026, after a brief illness. He was born on April 10, 1957, in Anderson, Indiana, where he resided most of his life.

He retired from USF Holland Freight in 2023 and marked the beginning of a well-earned time of rest and enjoyment.

Eric is survived by his daughter, Angela (Rocky) Bennett; grandchildren, Grace Bennett and Evan Bennett; great-grandson, Caden Browning; siblings, Neal (Karen) Brumback, Debbie Linn, Lisa (Al) Crouse, Michelle (Ronnie) Bilbrey and Stephanie (Willie) Wallace and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Mary Kathryn "Kathy" Brumback; his parents, Norma J. Brumback and Lee Brumback and his great-niece, Sophia Bendes.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. David C. Mares and the Southern Care Hospice team for their attentive care and support.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 12:00 pm, at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery, with Rev. Gary Klinger officiating.

Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson, Indiana.
