Eric Butler Obituary
Eric was born March 10th 1970, in Oakland, California to Cathlee Bantsari and Ronald Duane Butler. He moved around quite a bit when he was younger and they settled in Ketchikan, AK at an early age. When he was in high school, he moved to Juneau, AK.
Throughout his life he loved bicycles, not only riding them, but building them. In 1992 his future wife moved to Juneau, and they lived there until 2015.
In 2015 he moved with his wife Kelli and son Nolen to Albany, Oregon where he lived until 2024 when they moved back to Juneau until his passing. He loved rock hounding and would frequent the coast and Willamette River while he lived in Oregon. His greatest love in life was his family and home. Being a good friend was important to Eric, and his home was a welcome place for everyone in his life.
He is survived by his spouse Kelli and 2 children Natasha King (Prather-Butler) and Nolen Butler. His siblings Irene Dundas (Sister), Troy Butler (Brother), Perry Butler (Brother), Rhonda Butler (Sister), Shane Butler (Brother), Nikki Butler (Sister), RJ Butler (Brother), Josh Rice (Brother), Tony Rice (Brother)
Eric was preceded in death by his father Ron Butler and stepfather Kent Bantsari.

I met Kelli and Eric over a year ago in Juneau. Both such wonderful and kind people. Every time I saw Eric he had a big smile and would make me laugh. Always willing to help and be kind to anyone he met. He had a light about him that was infectious and a positive attitude that is missed everyday.
