Eric Shandon Dixon

Eric Dixon 59 of Bakersfield Ca passed away on January 21, 2025, at the Heart Hospital. He was born December 20,1965, in San Bernardino Ca, to Linda King and David Dixon he has two sisters, Jennifer, Carrie and one brother Chris Dixon. Eric was survived by wife Jessica Sue Dixon and his two daughters Shelby Dixon, Sarah Dixon and his four street kids Eric, Becca, Des, Don and his one grandson Alex that he loved dearly, and his stepmother Lori Dixon, also he had four street grandkids, Mila, Kaylee, Scarlet and one on the way.
Eric was a hardworking loving father, husband, grandpa, (gramps), uncle. He loved working on ATM's model airplanes, computers and Rc cars, Eric also loved playing his Sax and guitar for his wife and family. Most of all he loved being a father, husband, street dad and (gramps), He loved being called gramps by Alex.
Eric Left a life and legacy of love and respect, he was a mentor to a lot of people from the ATM's to the homeless. Eric also served his country in the United States Coast Guard, we will miss him dearly his wings were ready but our hearts weren't. Rest in peace.
