Eric Fleek Obituary

Born May 7, 1959, in Minot, ND, he was the son of Melda Ilene (Morrison) Bridges and the late Douglas Fleek. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Michael David.
Eric was a 1977 graduateof Fort Hill High School. As a student, he played football and was part of a state championship-winning team. After high school, he went on to serve his country for 10 years in the United States Navy. He was a member of the American Legion and the Goodfellowship Club. Eric was a coin collector and had a passionate interest in bald eagles.
Eric leaves behind, in addition to his mother, his stepfather, Wesley Bridges; son, Eric D. Fleek, Jr. and fiancée, Michelle Smith; grandchildren, Kayleigh Fleek and Gracie Baker; siblings, Linda Burgess and husband, Dale, Charlotte White, Richard Kline and wife, Diana, Vickie Brown, Rick Bridges and wife, Robin, and Ranee Syracuse; several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave, Cumberland, on Sunday, September 11, 2022, from 3 to 4pm. A memorial service will immediately follow at 4pm.
