Eric Haisch Obituary
Eric D. Haisch, 46, a resident of Merrillville, IN, passed away September 4, 2025. He was born June 29, 1979 in Chicago, IL to Carol and Donald Haisch.
Eric was a veteran of the US Navy. He enjoyed fast cars, working with his hands, and sports, especially baseball. Eric was the life of the party, was known for his goofy sense of humor, and his outgoing and positive attitude. He enjoyed helping others and was a great uncle to his nieces and nephews.
Eric is survived by his wife of 3 years, Marla Haisch, his mother Carol Haisch, his brothers David (Meghann) Haisch and Charles Haisch, and his many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Donald Haisch.
A visitation and funeral service are scheduled for Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030 from 9:00am to 10:00am the casket will be open for one hour, with the visitation continuing from 10:00am until 11:00am and the service commencing at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in Libertyville, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
