Mildred Lee Komac, 80, a resident of Round Lake, Il passed away on December 23, 2025 at her home. 

She was one of 11 children growing up on a farm in Kentucky, born to Fred and Mary Napier. She has 4 sisters; Jean Petry (deceased), Geneva Knuckles (deceased), Tina Grimaldi, and Kathy Shumate. She has 6 brothers; George (deceased), Randall (deceased), Raymond (deceased), Ralph, Darrel, and Charles Napier.

Millie has 3 children with her husband Jerome Komac (deceased), each of whom gave her grandchildren that she loved. Daughter Kimberly Wiley brought her Devin, Greyson, and Devin's son Keane. Son Kevin Komac brought her Kayla and Ashley. Daughter Kara Komac-Strischek gave her Alec, Seaonna, and Cade.

Millie's favorite things to do were anything that started with "I was just", yelling at squirrels, yelling colorful words at the Chicago Bears during games, watching golf, and hosting holiday barbecues where she could see everyone together with enough food to feed an army. MIllie spent her time working on her yard and garden and talking with neighbors She was known for cooking and not letting people leave without taking some with them

A visitation will be held at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Friday, January 2, 2025 from 4pm until 8pm. 

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Gilbert Catholic Church, 301 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Saturday, January 3, 2025 at 10am. Interment will be held privately.
