Eric Hatfield Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Zaback-Williams-Ducro Funeral Home on Dec. 27, 2025.
Eric Hatfield, 45, born in Erie, Pennsylvania, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025.
He was born to Tammy (Hatfield) White, June 25th of 1980 and was lovingly cared for by his mother and stepfather, Jeffrey White.
Eric was very athletic in high school, playing football and basketball, later he went to school for carpentry trade and work. He worked many trades, construction, painting, drywalling and roofing. Eric also worked other jobs, at Applebee's and Red Lobster, Clay Street Inn, and Penny Dock for short periods of time.
He enjoyed life, art and tattooing, along with cutting hair. He loved to listen to music, his favorite rapper being Kevin Gates. He enjoyed watching sports, usually the Browns and the Cleveland Cavaliers, his favorite teams. Eric's favorite color was red, so much so, it's what family and friends would know him by. His smile was infectious, being the light of the party and family with his jokes and charming personality.
He is survived by his stepfather, Jeffery White; sisters, Heather and Holly White; beloved friend and partner, Tonia Smith; children, Jayden and Jorden Hatfield; and a host of nieces and nephews, as well as cousins.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Tammy (Hatfield) White; cousin, Sonny Ray Hatfield; grandparents, Rebecca and Ernest Hatfield, and Coke and Maxine White; uncle Squeak; and aunt Rhonda Kay Hatfield.
