Eric Hill Obituary
Hill, Eric Timothy - Age 31, of Flint Township, died October 4, 2024.
Eric was born October 13, 1992 in Flint, Michigan. He was a 2010 graduate of Swartz Creek High School.
Eric struggled with addiction for many years. Eric was full of life, generosity and humor. Eric was a loving caring man who was passionate and vocal about his love for his family. Eric’s greatest accomplishment was his daughter Saige, he loved spending time with her and talked about her endlessly when they were apart.
We are saddened Eric is gone; he is in a better place now. His never-ending love for his family, big smile and kindheartedness will live on in our thoughts and memories forever.
Eric had desires for many great accomplishments. Unfortunately, the addiction that Eric and others suffer with keep these dreams from making our world a better place.
Eric often used public media to convey his feelings, he had a way of writing about his challenges in heartfelt sentiments that allowed loved one’s insight to his struggles, “I don’t want to be a negative statistic but a positive one”.
You will be missed; we love you Eric.
Surviving are: his daughter Saige; father, Douglas L. Hill Jr.; mother Christy L. (Conlen) Hill (Ed Wykes); sister Christy Lee Hill (Donald Stebbins); nephew, Lane Stebbins; grandparents, Robert Conlen, Sharon Ann Hill; aunt Sandy (Doug) Alberto; several more aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Douglas L. Hill Sr., and Sharon Lee Hill.
Funeral services will be held by Eric's father and family 1 PM Friday, October 11, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. (The funeral may be viewed by livestream from a link at Eric's page at www.sharpfunerahomes.com.) Visitation will be held 12 - 1 PM Friday, October 11.
A separate memorial for Eric's mother side will be held 11 AM Thursday October 10, 2024 at the Central Church of the Nazarene, 1261 W. Bristol Road, Flint in the Family Center.
