Eric Shane Holdiman of Cleveland, TN, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at the age of 53. He was born on April 23, 1972, to Bill and Mildred (Penrod) Holdiman.
He was a graduate of Bradley Central High School. He enjoyed going to concerts, riding his Harley Davidson bike, working on cars, and spending time with his family and friends.
Eric was of the Christian faith and the Church of God denomination.
In addition to his loving parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Ed Holdiman, and special aunt, Nancy Williford.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son Dakota (Monica) Holdiman; daughter, Taylor (Darywn) Howard; sister, Ann (Eugene) Gibson; stepsister, Leyla Inez; brother, Frank Holdiman; grandchildren: Summer, River, and Wyatt Holdiman, and Enslee Howard; and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind many wonderful friends. Two very special friends were like brothers to him--Andy Woody and Johnny Hooker.
Visitation and funeral services for Eric will be at Companion Funeral Home Ridge Chapel. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, August 20, from 4:00-8:00 pm and on Thursday, August 21, from 11:00am -12:00 pm. The funeral service will be at 12pm.
Eric will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Gardens immediately following the service. Pallbearers will include Cody Holdiman, Darwyn Howard, Andy Woody, Johnny Hooker, Ricky Pell, and Kevin Thompson.
