Eric S. Kern, born July 26th, 1969, passed away at the age of 55, on December 18, 2024, after a long illness.
He is survived by his children, Grayson Kern, Gunnar Kern, and Logan Kern; parents, Joseph and Joyce Kern; brother, Garin (Kathy) Kern; sister, Theresa (David) Coriell; numerous nieces and nephews; and a close friend that held a special place in his life, Angela Hale.
Eric attended Oak Hill High School and was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy. He worked in the restaurant business for 35 years. His favorite sports team was the Clemson Tigers. He loved classic rock, fishing, hunting, playing pool, and riding the backroads.
Eric's wish was to be cremated, and to have a private service with his immediate family that he loved so deeply. Arrangements are under the direction of the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Online condolences may be sent to .
