Judith “Tiny” Carol Strickland, age 88, of Oak Hill, Ohio passed away Monday, February 9th, 2026, with family by her side. She was born May 8th, 1937, in Oak Hill, Ohio, daughter of the late John and Opal (Crabtree) Snyder.

Tiny is survived by her devoted husband of 68 years, after meeting on “The Grass” Her lifelong square dancing partner, Raymond Strickland; her sister, Jean Strickland; her children: Rick (Shirley) Adkins, Deb (Tim) Gray, Larry (Sonya) Strickland, Alan (Ronda) Strickland, Diana (Greg) Saunders, Mike (Candi) Strickland, and Scott (Missy) Strickland.

Tiny was the HEART of the home, and more than anything she loved taking care of her entire family. She hosted Sunday dinners for her seven children, seventy grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. They were her pride and joy.

Tiny also enjoyed hosting square dances at the shelter house, dancing at Wagon Wheelers, traveling to Renfro Valley to listen to bluegrass, journeying out west, and girls’ trips to Tennessee.

She was an avid Oak Hill Oaks fan cheering her grandchildren on at their sporting events. She enjoyed watching everyone swim in the family pool, even though she didn’t know how to swim herself. She managed Lakeview Auto Sales for 20 years and enjoyed watching her boys auto racing. In her spare time, she played cards, did word searches, and enjoyed mushroom hunting.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruby Potts, Lib Warning, Irene Woods, and Betty Fulk; brother, Buck Collins; infant brother, Bobbie Snyder; half-brother, Carl Snyder; half-sisters: Merle Lambert, Mildred Rawlins, and Myrtle Woodruff; her first husband, Ray Adkins; and grandson, Nathan Strickland.
