It is with deep sorrow we announce the unexpected passing of Eric Kiero, age 43, on January 1, 2026 with his partner and family by his side. He was a graduate of Duluth Central class of 2001. He was employed by Country Hearth, Pan-O-Gold.
A truly hardworking man, Eric took pride in everything he did. He was known to have a tool for everything. And always willing to lend a helping hand to all. He also enjoyed grilling and cooking. He was always searching to perfect his beef jerky recipe and never hesitated to share his latest batch.
Above all, Eric loved his family deeply and worked tirelessly to provide for those he held close. He leaves behind Karrie Ross, whose love was his greatest comfort.
He is lovingly remembered by Karrie, and her children, Alyssa and Nora; by his own beloved sons, Evan and Nolan, whose bond with him ran deep; his parents, Russ and Sheryl; and his sister, Angie (Andy), and their daughters, Halle and Kate.
There will be no funeral services. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Summer of 2026. Until then, keep the SISU strong! Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home 218-727-3555.
600 E. Second Street, Duluth, MN 55805
