Eric Dewayne Lampton

Eric D. Lampton was born on October 24, 1971, to the late William Lampton Sr. and Alice Anderson Lampton. He departed this earthly life on May 25, 2023, at his home.
Eric graduated from Jewel M. Sumner High School. He was a very hard worker. For 30 years he was a dependable, hardworking employee for Amite Tire Inc. He was a member
of Powerhouse Praise and Worship Center. He accepted and gave his life over to Christ.
" Dear God Thank You For Forgiving me of my sins, thank you for washing me clean. Thank you! Jesus steps forward to announce he has paid my debt in full and set me free." One of the greatest passions was his faith. He was on a mission to serve the Lord and loved speaking and teaching others to follow Christ.
Brother Eric leaves to cherish his memories, his beloved mother Alice Lampton, five children, Erica Lampton, Derrick and Dericka Lampton, Erianna and Erielle Lampton, and one grandchild Aubree Chappell.
He also leaves to cherish four sisters; Debbie Burns (Cartez) of Roseland, Linda Davis (Daniel) of Roseland, Sherry Robertson (Robert) of Roseland, Meshel Reed (Kennedy) of Hammond, LA, two brothers; William Lampton Jr. (Stephanie) of Roseland, and Leroy Lampton (Dianna) of Amite, LA and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Brother Eric Lampton is preceded in death by his father, William Lampton, Sr. his grandparents, and two nephews, Joshua W. Lampton, and Reginald Williams Jr.
